Along the Ohio River Greeway, stop at Ashland Park for a picnic at the region's best spot for Louisville skyline views. The park's newest resident, a Rosie the Riveter statue, commemorates a Clarksville resident who was one of the women who inspired the Rosie the Riveter icon. Note: Cost to enter Charlestown State Park is $7 for in state residents and $9 for those visiting from out of state. Admission is free with an annual state park permit from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

Listen to the Ohio River rushing through the dam, catch glimpses of wildlife on family-friendly trails, and watch the sun set from the deck of the park’s Interpretive Center. Note: Parking at Falls of the Ohio State Park is $2 per vehicle. The Interpretive Center is open Mondays - Saturdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays 1:00 - 5:00 pm.

Visit Huber’s Orchard, Winery and Vineyards, with its views of rolling hills, orchards and vineyards. While there, check out the farmer’s market, a dairy shop with homemade cheese and ice cream, tour Huber Winery or Starlight Distillery and enjoy seasonal features like their Christmas tree farm and pumpkin patch. Take in the scenic architecture of historic downtown New Albany's Mansion Row on Main Street. Stretching from the State Street intersection through 15th Street, the row is sprinkled with historic, and sometimes colorful, gems including Culbertson Mansion State Historic Site, a Victorian-era mansion built in the late 1800s. The Culbertson offers tours showcasing the inside of the historically preserved home and year-round events. Keep an eye out for additional historical markers along Mansion Row to learn more about past residents.
