Southern Indiana Visitor Center

Begin your tour at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center where we share an overview of Jeffersonville's history. From its founding in the early 1800s to the disasters, wars, and floods that shaped the community, this stop sets the stage for hauntings and legends tied to the city’s past.

Red Yeti

Once a speakeasy and later a funeral parlor, the building is now home to Red Yeti, a popular farm-to-table restaurant. Staff report objects flying, shattered glasses, and sightings of a ghostly child.

H.M. Franks an O’Shea’s Pub / The Alcove

These two bars sit inside buildings with long histories tied to Prohibition and downtown nightlife. Employees report unexplained crashes, falling objects, and even a “ghost cat."

Warder Park

Once home to a hub that supplied Civil War soldiers, Warder Park sits at the crossroads of Union and Confederate history. Today, it’s a peaceful green space, though many report apparitions of soldiers walking its paths.

Pearl Street Taphouse

One of Pearl Street’s preserved historic buildings, now a bustling bar. Owners have captured objects moving on security footage, and both staff and visitors report an unsettling presence inside.

Veterans Memorial Park

Now a quiet park, this site was once an early cemetery dating back to 1802. Excavations revealed hundreds of forgotten graves. Visitors still sense ghostly presences and see Civil War soldier apparitions.

BobaBun Café

Built in 1835, this home was once owned by the Cunningham family. Today it houses BobaBun Café, where staff report feelings of being watched, unexplained noises, and ghostly figures seen in the windows.

Parlour

Formerly a bed-and-breakfast, this lively restaurant has a haunted side. Staff frequently report seeing shadowy figures move upstairs in the event space.

Colgate Palmolive Building

This is a privately owned building and an active construction site — please admire it from a distance and don’t trespass!

This building started out as Indiana’s first state prison in the 1800s before becoming the Colgate Palmolive factory. Workers have long reported shadowy figures, screams, and apparitions in the old basement cells.
